What does this mean for Pepperell residents?


  • All of our Paramedics can now utilize their advanced skills in pre-hospital management of heart attacks, diabetic emergencies, severe asthma attacks and other major medical and trauma emergencies.

    We currently have 5 Paramedics on the Fire Department, as well as EMTs in paramedic training.
  • The primary ambulance is fully equipped with Paramedic supplies and equipment, including a 12-lead heart monitor/defibrillator; our secondary ambulance will be equipped through grants and fundraising.
  • There will be at least one Paramedic available 6AM-6PM every day. At night, Paramedics may be in-town, or may be provided by MedStar, Townsend or other Paramedic services. We will increase night coverage as we get more Paramedics on the Fire Department.
