Pepperell Senior Center - Volunteerism increases by 33% in one year!

Pepperell Senior Center Logs an Amazing 8,969 Volunteer Hours that amounts to $127,627 in Estimated Savings for the Town—Volunteerism increases by 33% in one year!

On Tuesday June 20, 2017, the Town of Pepperell was presented an artist’s rendition of a “check” for the time and energy that was committed by the dedicated volunteers at our Senior Center.  This impressive event included a wonderful dinner, music and dancing for the full house of Senior Volunteers and public dignitaries, including State Representative Sheila Harrington, Members of the Board of Selectmen and Town Administration.  According to records kept by Senior Center Staff, this year’s estimated savings increased by $31,447 or +33% over last year’s amount.  This is a key barometer of the incredible level of giving that our Seniors provide to the Senior Center and to the Town of Pepperell.  Their dedication, devotion and attentiveness to a vast array of critical programs is truly remarkable.  Thank you!
